Hi everybody.
I'm new in this forum and i have a problem with bios.

My motherboad is Gigabyte GA-8ST800, P4 in socket 478, chipset SiS 645DX and 512 ddr memory with windows xp sp2. It's an old pc but it's ok for what i needed for. I tried a bios update with 'BIOS live update utility' via win xp and when i shut down and boot up it gives me "BIOS ROM checksum error" and ability to boot only from a floppy. So I create a bootable floppy disc with the 'FLASH867.EXE, 8ST800.F3 in order to flash bios but when the flash ultiliy is loaded it gives me "Flash part is not supported, Make sure the flash is not protected, chipset isn't available".

What can I do?
Thanks in advance.

The problem has been solved. I tried the "uniflash" utility and all ok.
