due to the pc tooo old.. i am running DSL (Linux) Damn small linux in it.

anyway.. everytime i start up my pc it will ask me to reset the time n date .. bcoz it is 1998. i need to set it any number 2000 n abv then only i can proceed.

first question .. why is tat?

second question i know this is something to do with y2k thingy ..

so is there anything i can do to update tat old bios of mine so tat it wont irritate me anymore?..

i think my BIOS is Pheonix Rom 1.10

empty onboard battery. replace it. CR2032 i suppose.
