 I have a BIOS details as follows:
ATC-1000+
i430VX-2a59ga29c-00
Award Bios V1.3
intel triton VX Chipset. 166mhz Pentium Chip
i AM TRYING TO ADD AN HP 656C PRINTER TO THE USB CARD(WHICH HAS BEEN INSTALLED AND IS SHOWING ON THE DEVICE MANAGER) wHEN THE PRINTER IS PLUGGED INTO THE USB PORT IT IS SHOWN AS AN UNKNOWN DEVICE. AN OPTICAL MOUSE IS RECOGNISED IF IT IS PLUGGED IN.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO ENABLE THE PRINTER TO WORK?

| Install the printer software (drivers, etc.) first, without plugging the printer to the USB port. Once done, reboot. When already in Windows, plug the printer and it should be detected correctly.
