one time I make up date for bios from net but when I restart my
computer it give me this massge:

( auto recovery function:
please insert Bios file )

can any one helpe me

my computer is:p4
MB: intel 850 - GA-8tx
bios: ima

Is that Gigabyte GA-8ITX?
It is trying to read a BIOS file from the diskette. Do you have the BIOS file?
If it is GA-8ITX, the BIOS can be downloaded from http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/support/intel850.htm#link8itx

...then read FAQ #9 on Wim's BIOS main site to find out how to recover from a corrupt AMI BIOS, i.e. copy BIOS file to diskette and rename it.
