Post subject: Bad PCI Card |
|
|
Hi All
If I insert a bad PCI card in a PCI slot, Why the processor is not getting instructions?
How a processor knows about PCI card before executing instructiuons?
Best regards
Siva

The bad PCI card may be jamming some essential system signals. A simple case - it holds RESET low.
