Hard disk !!

i have an older machine with an intel PII 333
I'm trying to use a 4oGB Maxtor hard drive , but my computer didn't reconize it . Can anyone help ?
my bios's infomation :
- flash memory type : SST29EE010/5v
- flash memory size : 1M bit (00000 - 1FFFF)
- bios id : 09/17/98 i440EX - 2A69JQ1JC-00
- Award modular bios V4.51 PG

You need new BIOS. It's QDI ExcellenX V board. The latest BIOS is "01/06/99-i440EX-W977-2A69JQ1JC-00" at http://www.qdi.nl/download/bios/excellenx/E5_v13.zip It supports HDDs upto 32GB.
I'm developing a program that can fix 32GB bug in Award BIOSes. If you want to try a modified BIOS, I can send you the latest one modified - try it at your own risk.
