i want to put sata HD on new mobo, the HD is full with programs,how to install 3rd party drive ?and what is raid driver ?are they the same ?if not ,how to install it?i have asus p4p800.

Read you motherboard manual - you need to install SATA-drivers for your motherboard.

Connect the SATA cable between the HDD and motherboard, then turn on the pc, then select install 3rd party drive. Under WinXP Pro you need a floppy disk with HDD drivers downloadable from the HDD manufacters, typically in 1.44 format.
