Post subject: Unknown BIOS, have strings and version though. Need Manual |

I need a manual to my BIOS. I am trying to find out what the largest hard disk drive it will support is.
The BIOS says Award V 6.00PG.
The BIOS string says 02/20/2002-VT8363-VT686B-6A6LMF0AC-00
The processer in it is an AMD Duron 850Mhz, which is type whatever, I don't know the socket names.

Dang, you're speedy on the replies. Thanks for the link. I will read the manual and see if it tells me the absolute highest size, and if it doesn't I'll come back and see if you know.
Thanks for the speedy reply!

| It doesn't seem to give me a clear answer on the largest HDD allowed, but for my purposes 137Gb and above is good. I'm buying a 120Gb hard drive.

Motherboard manuals never comes with maximum HDD size specifications.
Your BIOS release:
VDC49 PCB 1.1
2002/4/19
Fix:
1. Fixed System failure when install Windows 2000 with Althon 1.3GHz CPU.
2. Supports shut down temperature function.
3. Support Hard disk size over 136GB.
