I cant seem to find out who made my motherboard, here is the information, and forgive me if I put this in the wrong section as I am new to this forum!

694X-686A-6A6LJPR9C points to 6 different motherboards from PcPartner. The actual model number is NOT printed on the board, the form factor and the code can give an indication of what board we're looking at:

You're lucky it's not a Pc Chips, they are even less easy to find, you'd have to send in a photo to ID it...

Well I opened the tower and this is what I found, I do apologize as I am a total newbie when it comes to this stuff...

On the motherboard itself it had this on a sticker by the PCI slot cards

VIA-ATX7730

On the chipset it has this

VT82C694X

And the only serial I could find by the printer port was this

9C950011918

BIOS Version
2K000608

A-trend ATX-7730 which has both slot1&socket370 so it is the AP133AAS13-C950/ AP133AAS13-950C/ AP133AAS13-B950C variant of which the -C950 is the most likely candidate

So once I identify the the flash IC Bios I'll know which bin file to use in the zip file and I use Awdflash...and the bin file on a bootable disk!

I read the manual and it sounds easy enough, thank you for your time and I will report back once I complete this task!

Thank you for the photo it helped me find the flash IC Bios chip, this is what mine has one it

Now I just wanted to comfirm with you one more time as if I screw this up I could be dead in the water... Sad

Now inside the Bios zip file it has 2 bin files, which one or do I install both?

V0824AG.bin

As it mentioned to identify the clock generator IC on your motherboard before updating the BIOS. Upgrading with a wrong BIOS file may result in failure to power up after the upgrade Exclamation

Sorry was out and just got the email! I opened the tower again and found it right by the Ram slots

This is what it says on the chip

W83194R-39B

Just want to make sure we have the right Bios, bin files...

Well I did the flash already after seeing what the clock gen code was as the readme file pointed out to use rev "B" ...

Now everything went fine but I did get a flashing warning just before the programing start!

Something about this file is not suited for your system!!!!

I still wen't ahead with the flash anyway, and everything seems to be working fine!

Is that something I should be worried about?

The system error's that I was getting before the flash are gone and my system seems to be moving much faster now, especially on bootup!

Well, it looks like you had the bios for the 39A controller chip loaded before flashing but I wasn't entirely sure. I have checked this again and you were.

Anyway you now have the proper bios and a working system. Thanks for reporting back Very Happy
