Hi all,
I'm new on this forum and I don't know anything about BIOS modding...
But I want to ask you if it is possible tu update the ACPI protocol of my board (only factory BIOS released) from 1.0b to 2.0.
I have many problems with IRQ conflicts on Linux and it doesn't have MPS APIC v1.4 that permit me to run VMWare smoothly with a dual core opteron.
This board is great, good hardware but has crappy BIOS...
Plz help me!!!
Thank you!!!

Yes... is the only...
Now I was succeded to enable MPS 1.4, and it seems to work quiet fine.
I've another problem...
All the peripherals installed on BUS 1 were enumerated by BIOS with IRQ (9-10-11).
All the peripherals installed on BUS 2 haven't got assigned any IRQ (NA).
I'm starting to study ASL Language to try to modify BIOS APIC behaviour but without success...
Anyone has experience to help me to do that?
Thank you!!!
