Note:
There are two different Bios versions for this series of Pcchips i430VX based board.

If you start your computer press pause/break key to have a look at the screen. The Bios-ID should be at the bottom. In the upper left corner, just below the Award Logo you should see either
Release 10/16/1997 L
or
Release 10/16/1997 S

(Different release date but either L or S at the end).

Please only choose the Bios for your letter, either the L or the S Bios.

Thanks for the link Wink i,ve found 2 drivers but i think that they are not apropiated for my pc because the Bios ID string, is not the same than mine.I,ve found

PC Chips i430VX boards with UMC I/O (A101 v1.4, M520, M525, M530, M535, M538, M549) - Large block flash 10/17/97-i430VX-02271997C-00 Release 10/16/1997 L

PC Chips i430VX boards with UMC I/O (A101 v1.4, M520, M525, M530, M535, M538, M549) - Small block flash 10/15/97-i430VX-02271997C-00 Release 10/16/1997 S

And my ID string is i430vx-02071997c-00. Does it mean that these drivers are not apropiated for my pc?

Pcchips used a non-standard Bios-ID. If you look a little closer you'll see it looks like a date stamp.

Just verify which of the two version you need, as said either the L or S-Revision.

Or try to start awdflash with additional /py /sn command

Your command line should look like awdflash newbios.bin /py /sn
-> replace awdflash and/or newbios.bin with filenames of your files if they are named differently.

The BIOS file is not a "driver" for your OS.

You are actually changing something inside your PC hardware (generally speaking). See -> http://www.wimsbios.com/faq.jsp#q1

Please see this FAQ for further instructions on Flashing. -> http://www.wimsbios.com/faq.jsp#q6

Thanks.
