Latest Bios Needed PLZ - Packard Bell Easynote SW51 - 201

Hi Guys,
hope you can help me with my little problem. Upgrading the OS on the following Laptop, and getting this error,

"The Bios in this system is not fully ACPI compliant" Please contact your system vendor for a updated bios"

Packard Bell Easynote SW51 - 201
Model MIT DRAG - D
MS- Model: DDP01 AD007D

P/N: PB57C00001
Following is the Info in the Bios

System Bios 1.03
EC Bios 101

Packard Bell are no help, as they tell me it's too old, yes maybe it is, but it still works OK. It did have XP Media Edition on it, and the owner wants to use Win 7, but that little problem with the bios is stopping it, so here I am asking for your help please.

1.03 is the last bios ever released. this system was never designed to run windows 7. time for a replacement laptop or use whatever flavour of linux as that still can run on older hardware.
