Hi!

I am looking for help getting 60Gb hard drive being recognized by Award BIOS on this VTech (PCPartner) motherboard. I've tried the BIOS update on PCPartner site, but w/o success :evil:
(The UNIFLASH indicates that it is 1Mb BIOS IC).

Can somebody please help?

A link is always handy, if you have identified the correct BIOS. What model is the board ?

Unfortunately the link (www.pcpartner.com/...) points to the BIOS update that I've already tried without success. :cry:

I guess I need to find a BIOS patched for recognizing >32Gb hdds.
Somebody knows if there is such a thing for this m/b?

PS It's LXA833D I think

OK, patched and uploaded to here as (PC-Partner LXA833D 1Mb).zip for testing.

The last problem is that I cannot access the file you pointed to http://wims.rainbow-software.org/nicks/ ... 201Mb).zip.

Your server replies 403 - no permission to access this file.

When you click the link in my signature, can you see the index ?
If so, can you click on the filename to download it ?
