A machine that was over a year without working was turned on and it does not boot.
There's no video signal, only a beep code: 4-4-2-4
It seems that the Bios is not working.
Battery is O.K.
How can be the Bios restablished?
Motherboard: Intel DK440LX Dual processor
RAM: 128 MB
Bios: Phoenix
I will appreciate any help!
Thanks!
System does not turn on, help please!

Get the bios file here:
http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts ... bios10.exe
And follow instructions for a recovery flash here:
http://www.intel.com/design/motherbd/standardbios.htm
Recovery jumper is mentioned in the documentation:
http://support.intel.com/support/mother ... p/DK440LX/
Remember these boards really barf at cheap/incompatible memory, you might want to try another stick.
