Hi All -
I'm installing W2k Professional on the DFI...upgrading from Win98SE. In order to set my WC and EWBE/DPE registers, I use MXK6OPT.EXE, run from the Win98 Autoexec.bat, at boot time.
Can this program still be run from the W2k Autoexec.bat? Just set it up the same way?
I'm not sure if the HAL layer in W2k will allow MXK6OPT to run at this time.
My patched BIOS does not support these features, so I have to set them manually...somehow.
Thoughts?
Thanks for your input.
K6-2/III+ and W2k Professional, Can I still use MXK6OPT.EXE?

Windows NT/2K/XP do not use autoexec.bat at all...

OK...autoexec.nt then...
Point is...what can I use that is W2k compatible in order to set these options? I don't think there is room left in my BIOS for a patch to do this...
