80GB: 11/06/97-i430VX-UMC8669-2A59GG0AC-00

I have an problem with my Gigabyte GA586ATV Rev.4B Mainboard. The BIOS does not recognize my new Harddisk (80GB, Samsung SP0812N). The BIOS is the latest available version from Gigabyte V1.28 (bios_5atv_128.exe). i serched for an patched BIOS but found nothing.

wow, you are pretty fast. my tests with windows and linux on a 166er P1 needed a little bit more time...

the disk is recognized, i can't find any problems,
the patched bios works fine.
