My system is Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
on a ABIT BX6 motherboard.
The system has a 450 MHz Pentium III CPU, 128MB ram & 60GB drive.
The system has worked great for a year !!!
Now I get the following error message:
"DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER"
Before this error, it would give me a CMOS checksum error.
Does anyone suggestions or solutons to this problem?
Is there any BIOS tests(diagnostics) that I can run.
Thank You

Problem with Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
Make sure you have the HDDs properly set.
Boot from a floppy and see if you can access the HDD.

Patched and tested BIOSes are at http://wims.rainbow-software.org
UniFlash - Flash anything anywhere

The system now works great !!!
I enter the BIOS setup and found that the HDD was not set to AUTO
for auto detection of the harddrive.
This problem maybe due to a power failure that changed the CMOS.
I reset that correctly and the system works OK !!!
Thank You for the HDD suggestion.
