Modifying VIA vb8001 phoenix awad bios v6.00pg

Hello Forum,
Just wondering if its possible to mod this bios. I've tried opening the dumped rom with phoenix bios editor 2.2. With no success. I wanted to change the cpuid to genuineintel like done with the oem board. Plus enable some way of overclocking the cpu (more than likely the cpu's multiplier is locked :().

This Bios is based on an Award 6.00PG kernel. You should use matching modding utilities for Award 6.00PG Bios.

why would you want to change the CPU vendor to "GenuineIntel"?

you can always overclock the cpu by raising the FSB. there are (Windows) tools out there that can reprogram the PLL on-the-fly that generates the FSB clock.

GenuineIntel is selling better I guess...
Unlocking multiplier shows more MHz, also sells better I guess...
