I purchased a stick of the KVR100X64C2/256 here , I just got it today, and plugged it in, and it recognized it just fine. I am running Memtest86+ v2.01 and so far so good after 1 pass, I'll probably let it run for a few more just to be sure. Thanks for the help Denniss & edwin ... I am off to...

every i440LX/EX or i440BX/ZX based board is technically able to fully support 256MB DIMMs per Slot if you use compatible ones (8x16 internal org, 16 memory chips (8 per side)). Just ordering 128MB is not free of problems as you might get 128MB with only 4 memory chips (capacity halved at best). Wou...

Still here :-) Ok, for one thing on the PCI slots, there seems to be no way to get them to run with 0 wait states. The experiments I did showed they will run with 1 wait state no matter what. The same PCI Sata raid card/raid stripe set plugged into the a8ae-le showed 60mb/s, peak 63. Taking that co...

BassKozz: ----------- Shift+F10, do you still have the recovery partition on your HD? I noticed the lack of this message also but chalked it up to not having the recovery partition on my drive(s). Ahhh, that's what it was... "restore partition". I forgot about that  As far as bios tweaks for m...

[EDIT: Yup, that did the trick... odd PCI device is no more... now I wounder what it was :?: ] I also noticed I had a screen tha...
